The Beatles, from Help! To Yoko
The Beatles have been one of the most influential bands in music history. Even those who do not care for their music personally, without a doubt love a band that has been influenced by them. The four members of the band had unique personalities that pulled in interest from people of all ages, and from all countries around the world. John Lennon, Ringo Starr, Paul McCartney, and George Harrison quickly became historical musical sensations after the release of their first U.K. Album ‘Please, Please Me,’ in the year 1963.
Over the years that The Beatles were popular their style progressed, being influenced by political, cultural, and other musical events. During the beginning of the acid movement, close to the release of Pink Floyd’s ‘Dark Side of the Moon,’ ‘Yellow Submarine’ showed a new, stranger side of the Beatles. As their music continued to evolve past ‘Yellow Submarine’ the band members began to clash, no longer focusing on the music, but on personal issues.
After some time of conflict, the musicians career together came to an end in 1970, not finishing the legal proceedings until 1975. To the dismay of many the Beatles were no more. The members of the band going on to create new musical projects of their own.
